About surimi.net
A small site with a narrow obsession: everything about surimi, done properly.
What this site is
surimi.net covers one subject — surimi and the products made from it — in more depth than a general food site can. Every page exists to answer a real question a home cook has: what this food actually is, whether it fits your diet, which package to grab, and what to cook with it tonight.
Editorial standards
- Recipes are tested with ordinary supermarket crab sticks before publication, and we say when a premium brand meaningfully changes the result.
- Nutrition and safety pages are written from label data and public guidance (FDA, USDA), stated as general information — never as medical advice.
- Product rankings are based on ingredient quality, texture, flavor, and price. No brand pays for placement, and commission rates never affect rankings.
- No thin pages. If a question deserves two sentences, it lives in the FAQ rather than padding out a page of its own.
How the site is funded
Through the Amazon Associates program: some links (marked with an arrow) earn us a small commission if you buy after clicking, at no extra cost to you. That's the entire business model — no ads, no sponsored posts, no selling your data.
